Letter A
1st Picture: f/14 | 1/100s | ISO-100 (Nikon D3100@55mm)
Place : Faculty of Mechanical, UTM Skudai 2nd Picture : f/14 | 1/20s | ISO-100 (Nikon D3100@55mm) Place : CEPP It wasn't difficult for me to find the letter A because there were many A shape board like this in UTM. I took many shot of A-Board signage that I could find but the first picture is my favorite one. The reason is because of its appealing orange color and its made from wood. The second picture was rusty and looks dull. Before I took the shot I adjust the color balance in white balance adjuster to compensate for the color temperature of the subject. The subject was more to brownish orange. Therefore I tweak the color balance to brown to make the image more aesthetically pleasing. |

Letter B
1st Picture : f/5.6 | 1/100s | ISO-200 (Nikon D3100@55mm)
2nd Picture : f/5.6 | 1/60s | ISO-200 (Nikon D3100@55mm) Place : Stadium Sports Complex, UTM Skudai The letter B was the most difficult to find. I had to think an object which can represent the letter B and I found this shining handrail in swimming pool. But to make it look like the letter B I had to lay down on the floor to get the right angle. The best shot that I capture was the first one. It is because of the bluish background color. The second picture has the view of the floor and it looks less appealing. |

Letter C
1st Picture : f/32 | 1/30s | ISO-200 (Nikon D3100@55mm)
2nd Picture : f/32 | 1/30s | ISO-200 (Nikon D3100@55mm) Place : PPR Flat Sri Stulang Finding the letter C was also a challenge for me. Luckily I had to visit site at PPR Flat Sri Stulang and I found this neglected telephone booth in the area. It caught my attention as it has the shape of a letter C. The first picture is the best shot because if you can see the nice view of home building. But in the second picture it is distracted by moving vehicles. |

Letter D
1st Picture : f/6.3 | 1/40s | ISO-200 (Nikon D3100@24mm)
2nd Picture : f/6.3 | 1/40s | ISO-200 (Nikon D3100@24mm) Place : Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru When I was coming out from MBJB office I realize at the end of the handrail has the shape of the letter D. It didn't took me long to find the letter D. It was a bright sunny day so I set my ISO to 200 and have my aperture set to f/6.3 to correctly expose my image the shutter speed needs to be set to 1/40. |

Letter E
1st Picture : f/36 | 25s | ISO-100 (Nikon D3100@40mm)
2nd Picture : f/25 | 30s | ISO-1600 (Nikon D3100@40mm) Place : My house in Bandar Baru Uda I can make my 5 tier shelf looking like the letter E by opening the drawer... :-) I took this shot in a closed room and during night time. The first picture I capture with lights on. The second picture I capture with lights off. If in a dark place and not using flash I should increase my ISO. I set my ISO to 1600 and I had to use tripod to keep the camera steady. If I didn't use it can cause blurry image. When I snap it would take 30 seconds later for the shutter to open back. In low light shots it can cause noise in the image. Noise in photographs is refer to the graininess in photo that reduce its clarity. You can see in the second picture the graininess is characterized with red pixels peppering images shot. |
